- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67001-07-Q-07-0120 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18 and DFARS Change Notice DCN 20070802. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 423440 and small business size standard is 100 employees. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract for the following supplies and services: CLIN 0001: Seven (7) each LOZIER ISLAND RUNS (brand name only); Part Number: IS472313106S-PLT; Double-sided aisles of Lozier gondola shelving 4? x 6? x 31?; Beige colored with powder coating finish. CLIN 0002: One (1) each LOZIER WALL UNIT (brand name only); Part Number: IE72313106S ? PLT; 104? Wall unit 4? x 6? x 31.? CLIN 0003: One thousand one hundred seventy (1,170) each LOZIER DROP WIRE SHELVING (brand name only); Part Number: DW4221W1 ? CHR; Drop in wire shelf, one piece design, multiple drop-n bracket design, flat 17˚ & 30˚ downslope, either 1? or ?? wire spacing, can hold a uniformly distributed load of 500 lbs CLIN 0004: One thousand one hundred seventy (1,170) each LOZIER PRICE TAG MOLDING (brand name only); Part Number: PTHDR48-XA5; Clear plastic price tag holders that snap in place, includes a product retainer lip, holds both 1.235? & 1.250? tags at 35 degree angle, and 1 ?? height. CLIN 0005: Twenty (20) each LOZIER METAL ISLE PROTECTORS (brand name only); Metal isle protectors, protects base OS Isle?s from lift trucks and carts to minimize impact damage. CLIN 0006: Fifteen (15) each LOZIER GUIDE RAILS (brand name only); Guide rails 104? runs of 2? x 3? 3 1/6th angle iron to protect the shelving in Bldg 1606. CLIN 0007: INSTALLATION SERVICES. Removal of old shelving and installation and configuration of items listed in CLINS 0001 to 0006. Contractor to complete the installation, configuration and removal of shelving project in 5 days. Installation to be in accordance with manufacturer?s recommended procedures. CLIN 0008: PRESSURE WASH CLEANING AND SEALING of warehouse floor. The floor is 10,290 square feet of concrete. Contractor shall prepare profile for floor in accordance with floor product specifications. Contractor shall also seal the floor with an unpigmented 100% solids epoxy that has a high traffic wear resistant coating. This is a turnkey operation and the contractor shall be responsible for the installation, reconfiguration, and removal of the shelving system as well as the cleaning and sealing of the warehouse floor. A site visit is scheduled for on 29 August 2007 at 2:00 PM. All vendors interested in attending this site visit shall contact Frances Lear no later than 4:00 PM EST on 28 August 2007. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical approach to CLINS 0007 and 0008, Delivery Time, Past Performance, and Price. If a quoter has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the quoter shall complete only paragraphs (b) through (i) of this provision.
