- The Overseas Private Investment Corporation intends to award a sole source purchase order to the incumbent firm, Internet Securities, Inc., for multi-country information services through the ISI Emerging Markets service. These services include current and archived news sources, analyst reports, government documents, economic data and analysis, industry surveys, financial statistics, securities market prices and data, international laws and commercial codes, accounting and regulatory standards, and extensive access to individual company financial statements, market prices, news reports, and market indicators. The service is to provide, via private website, country and regional menus that cover most of the emerging market countries in Latin America, Europe, Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The site allows for easy browsing of current information through menus that offer different sectors and sources and provides a search mechanism for acquiring background information in an archive that covers several previous years. The service provides unique Intellinews content, access to multi-language/non-Latin script sources, materials from sources within each country, and many publications and other sources of information not readily available in other databases typically found in the commercial marketplace. The geographic scope and the nature of the information are ideally suited to OPIC's information needs, providing reliable and crucial information for a wide range of OPIC functions and operations. Licensing provides access for five concurrent users via an IP authentication protocol for general research and reference. Subscription includes 2 email alerts. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a sole source requirement and if after evaluation the agency determines that there is no other comparable service, an award will be made without further notification. Responses must be received, in writing, within fifteen (6) calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit sufficient descriptive literature with their response to prove their capability to satisfy the requirements. Requests must be in writing.
