PRE-QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS ONLY. PREPROPOSAL MEETING SCHEDULED, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 29, 2007 @ 11:00 AM - MEET IN THE LOBBY. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. CONTACT FOR QUESTIONS REGARDING THE DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS: Robert Ramba, USPS Project Manager, (703) 406-6202, email: robert.c.ramba@usps.gov. A/E Firm: URS Architects, (410) 785-7220. Estimated Construction Cost Range: $1,500,000 to $2,000,000. The base bid work includes furnishing all labor, material, equipment, permits, and services for interior alterations to the existing building required to accommodate the future installation of (3) Flat Sequencing System (FSS) production machines, to be installed under a separate contract. Work will be required on both the 1st & 2nd floor of the existing building in accordance with approved USPS bid documents. The USPS owned facility is located at 900 Brentwood Rd., N.E., Washington DC. All proposal information received is confidential until award of a contract. Upon award, the name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information.
