- Statement as to Synopsis Description: See numbered note: 26. Frame Section Structural, vehicular (crossmember, suspension, front forward) are being procured in accordance with drawing (19207) 12338230. NSN 2510-01-175-7216 requires a First Article Test (F.A.T.) the initial production inspection requires 3 units within 45 days. The waived sources for this material are A.M. General (34623), Central Ohio Metal Stamping (0CVN9) and Roth Fabricating (0D4Y0). A quantity of 5000 each is required to be delivered to Tracy CA 95304-5000. This solicitation is a Hub-Zone Set-Aside all responsible quotes will be considered. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/ after the issue date Sep12, 2007 while price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is for 5000 each to be delivered in 120 days if the F.A.T is required. If a waived sources material is being supplied then the delivery will be reduced to 45 days. A written quotation is required and is to be returned to the bid room at Defense Supply Center Columbus, PO Box 3990, Columbus, OH 43218-3990, or can be faxd to 614-692-4275. In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement is now appearing in solicitations. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
