Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D. C., is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health services within the Mason City, IA area defined as follows: The services are to be provided within the limits of Mason City, as close as possible to the RRC which is located at 818 15th Street SW, Mason City, IA 50402 (Cerro Gordo Co.). Local transportation by bus ends at 5.30 pm. Cab is available within the City limits. Every effort should be made to accommodate access to treatment. This requirement will ensure inmate accountability is maintained and avoids penalizing indigent inmates without transportation who travel to a designated Treatment Center for TDAT. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on October 1, 2007, with four (4) possible one-year option periods. Services will end (if all options years are exercised) on September 30, 2012. The request for quotation will be available on or after August 20 , 2007, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site at http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Instructions for downloading the RFQ are provided at this website; hard copies of the quotation will not be available from the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date for the RFQ is on or about September 7, 2007. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price requirements contract. All responsible businesses may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
