Description: The U.S. Department of State, Office of Acquisition Management intends to issue a Sole Source Award to Lenco Industries, Inc. Pittsfield, MA for the acquisition of twenty-four (24) customized BearCat modification kits for integration of the .50 cal M2 gun mount for armored BearCat vehicles currently deployed in missions overseas. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1). FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agencys requirements.
