Description
VA-261-07-RQ-0255 Due: Sept. 14, 2007 Request for Quote (RFQ) - Smoking Cessation Materials and Services Targeted to Combat Returning Women Veterans currently undergoing health and treatment related services. This will specifically include a program for more intensive, individual face-to-face smoking cessation counseling for women receiving gender-specific treatment for PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a contract for the aforementioned service, acquisition to be accomplished by the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. This is intended to be a sole-source award to Elements Design Group of San Francisco, CA. Elements Design has successfully demonstrated that is uniquely attuned to the needs of combat era women veterans in this regard. Contractor to provide all labor, supplies, management and general expertise necessary to fulfill requirements. NAICS Code of 611710, size standard of $6.5 million applies. Product Service code of R419 applies. The actual solicitation should be posted on or about September 6, 2007. This is expected to be a one time, non-recurring procurement. Electronic solicitation may be accessed at no cost at www.fedbizopps.gov . Any amendment issued against this solicitation will also be available from the same URL addresses. Contractor is responsible for submitting all documents required in accordance with the solicitation, including any amendments which will be posted on this website. Solicitation is also subject to availability of funding. Proposals shall be submitted on an all or nothing basis. Partial proposals will be rejected. Proposal shall be valid for 60 days from offer due date. The Contracting Officer may add any additional contract requirements or terms and conditions (such as contract financing arrangements or warranty requirements) determined by the Contracting Officer to necessary for this acquisition and consistent with customary commercial practices.
