Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, FA2517-07-T-6069, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. (iv) This acquisition is being set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 238210 and the small business size standard is $13.0 million dollars. (v) The following commercial items are being requested in this solicitation: CLIN 0001 Intercom system and installation (vi) Please see Statement of Work for requirements. (vii) Delivery and installation shall begin no later than 30 days after Date of Award. Items acquired will be installed at CHILD CARE ANNEX BLDG 1525, PETERSON AFB CO 80914 (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The Government Reserves the right to award on multiple award or an all or none basis. All vendors must be registered in Wide Area Workflow at the time of quote submittal. Before the quote due date, all firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database @ www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. quotes will be evaluated on the basis of price. (x) The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. STATEMENT OF WORK FOR PETERSON AFB CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER BLDG 1525 PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF INTERCOM SYSTEM 1. The Child Development Center Annex requires the purchase and installation of an intercom system to replace the current system. The current system does not meet the needs of the program in that it is worn out to the point of not consistently providing clearly audible messaging between the rooms and the front desk. The current system does not permit contact with the rear playground or the kitchen pantry. Nor does it allow for privacy of communication. 2. Equipment and Installation: a. The contractor is required to provide and install an intercom system with 12 wall mount stations and two desk top stations. b. the wall mount stations shall be distributed among 6 classrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 pantry, 1 trainors office and 3 playgrounds. All units must have video capability except the trainors office, which shall have only audio capabilities. The playground units must be weather resistant. b. the contractor is required to provide and install two desk top (central controller) stations with video capibility will be installed, one at the reception desk and one in the director?s office. c. The desk top master stations (central controllers) with video capibility at the front desk and directors office shall be capable of making contact with all other stations both individually and as a whole. d. The stations located at the front desk and in the director?s office and in each of the six classrooms shall have handset options to allow for privacy of conversations. e. 6 classroom units shall have the following capabilities: volume control, mute, and flash signal for incomming calls when classroom systems are on mute as well as handset options that allow for privacy of conversations. g. Where possible, and if in good condition, the contractor will reuse the existing cable for all new intercom stations. New cable will be used in situations where the existing cable is damaged or otherwise not usable. h. The contractor will be responsible for removing the old system for the purpose of installing the replacement system. i. Damage done to the facility will be corrected by the contractor. j. A non-propritary system shall be installed. K. Work may be done duing regular business hours, except classroom work, which wil need to be done during nights and/or weekends.
