Description: Directorate of Contracting, USMA, West Point, NY intends to award on a sole source basis with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This award is a sole source Cost Reimbursement Contract to Watson Services, Inc., a HUBZone contractor for mess attendant/waiter service for the Cadet Mess at the United States Military Academy. The service also includes some custodial, scullery operations, housekeeping, grounds maintenance and cashier service. There is no solicitation for this procuremen t. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The period of performance will be 01 October 2007 - 31 January 2008 with two one month option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 4:00 PM on 10 September 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
