Description

The Government intends to negotiate a Commercial Firm Fixed Price type contract for overhaul of Hamilton HJ-274 Jet Drives. Performance under this contract shall be performed at the Contractor?s facility with a distance of 30 mile radius from the Naval Station Norfolk, Port Operations. Port Operations will deliver the boats to the Contractor?s facility. The Contractor shall provide inside storage of the boats while in the Contractor?s possession. Once overhaul is complete, the boats will be picked up by the Port Operations from the Contractor?s facility. The Contractor shall provide qualified personnel to perform overhaul on Hamilton HJ-274 jet drives. The Contractor shall supply and replace all repair parts. This is a Performance Based Service procurement that is 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 336611. The size standard is 1,000 employees. The period of performance is 17 Sep 07 through 4 Mar 2008. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials or owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency.
