- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Solicitation No. FA8601-07-T-0074 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-10. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. Non-manufacturing rule does not apply. This requirement is for QTY (2) ANESTHESIA MACHINE, QTY (2) VENTILATOR, QTY (2) VAPORIZOR, consisting of the following salient features: SIC Code 3825, NAICS Code 334515, Size Standard 500 Employees The requirements for the (2) ANESTHESIA MACHINE(S) are as follows: Anesthesia Machine: - Capable of using oxygen alone, or mixed with nitrous oxide - Oxygen flow rate from 0.2 to 4 (or higher) liters per minute - Carbon dioxide absorber, preferably of the canister type - Scavenging pressure relief valve - Oxygen flush - Oxygen pressure gauge (-60 to +60 cm H2O) - Portable stand The requirements for the (2) VENTILATOR(S) are as follows: Ventilator: - Bellows suitable for animals up to 210 lbs (100 kg), preferably with ability to change out for smaller animals (<15 kg) - Electronically controlled - Airway pressure alarms - Scavenging port The requirements for the (2) VAPORIZOR(S) are as follows: Vaporizer: - Isoflurane, from 0.5% to 5% - Automatic flow rate and temperature compensation - Safety lock Delivery is to be FOB destination.
