- Description
- Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for procurement of services by Crescent Gage & Tools to repair, calibrate, upgrade software for the OQ 30B comparator via Optical Gaging Products, Inc, 850 Hudson Ave, Rochester, New York 14621-4839. This machine is currently is utilized by the 648 AESS/YAPT Lab to satisfy mission requirements. The 311 Human Systems Wing/PKBA intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Optical Gaging Products is the sole manufacturer/certification authority for their equipment.
