Description

NAVFAC Washington, Washington Navy Yard, requires technical support to maintain state of the art Video Telecommunication (VTC) equipment, and Audio Visual Information Portals (AVIP) at sites in Maryland and Virginia. The VTC allows teleconferencing; while the AVIP system provides pertinent information among regional sites. There are six main regional sites for VTC and 12 regional AVIP sites. The contract shall provide services as required for systems analysis/assessment, infrastructure design, development support, installation, operations, and implementation support for distributed audio and video systems. On call services are also required. The effort may require a background check. The contract will be issued on a fixed-price basis for specified labor hours using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The effort will be for a basic contract with four (4) one-year options. Any interested party may submit their proposal by closing 12 September 2007, 5: 00 PM.
