Description

Lease Space to the U.S. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Requirement: The Federal Government is interested in leasing approximately 25,444 square feet of rentable space. The rentable space shall yield 22,125 BOMA Office Area square feet of office and related space available for use by tenant for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The Government presently occupies 22,125 BOMA Office Area square feet of space at The Chadwick Building, 5029 Corporate Woods Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Government is evaluating a Renewal Option and will consider relocation if economically advantageous to the Government. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving from the existing location, alterations, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. Unique Requirements: Federal tenant requires two highly secure rooms constructed in accordance with agency specifications and a large training room with audiovisual equipment and high-tech multi-media systems. Some floor loading and supplemental HVAC requirements apply in selective areas. Area of Consideration: The City Limits of Virginia Beach, Virginia Lease Term/Occupancy: Ten years; five years firm. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than December 31, 2007. Expressions of interest shall be submitted to the below no later than September 12, 2007 and include the following: (1) Building Name and Address, (2) BOMA Office Area Square Feet and (3) BOMA Office Area Rate Per Square Foot.
