- The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), has a requirement, contingent upon availability of funding, for security guard services at its Greenville Transmitting Station located in Greenville, North Carolina. Please note the Geographic Restriction: Offerors must have an office, branch or staff representative within 100 mile commuting range of the Greenville Transmitting Station, Greenville, North Carolina. This is small business set-aside procurement. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed price contract to meet this need. The term of the contract shall be for one year from date of contract award with options to extend for two (2) additional one-year periods. It is anticipated the Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation will be issued on or about July 31, 2007. Firms interested in receiving a copy of Solicitation No. BBGCON3807S6492-KSH must respond in writing to the Contracting Officer at the above address, via facsimile at 202-260-0855, or electronically to kharper@ibb.gov. All requests for copies of the solicitation must include the solicitation number, company name, mailing address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and name of contact person. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be honored. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Agency. See numbered Note 1. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price contract to meet this need.
