- The work consists of installing 3 gabion mattresses along the Oak Creek Road, Forest Road #089 and one gabion mattress along the Oak Creek Campground Road, Forest Road #412. Some repairwork is necessary to other existing gabions and some gabions will need to be installed in damaged areas. Road rehabilitation will be required on flood damaged portions of the Oak Creek Road. Work elements include furnishing equipment, labor, and materials associated with structural excavation and backfill, constructing gabion mattresses, placing geotextile fabric, repairing gabions, moving jersey barriers and installing aggregate surface course. Two additives are included with the project which may be awarded if funding is available. Additive 1 includes roadway excavation in order to widen the road at a certain location and installation of aggregate surface course. Additive 2 includes installation of a gabion wall, geotextile fabric and associated structural backfill and excavation. There will be a site visit August 28, 2007 10:00am at the project site - Oak Creek CAmpground, East of Oak City, UT on Forest Road #089 This project wil;l be uploaded to FEDBIZOPS August 16, 2007. Project is estimated to between $25,00 and $100,000
