- Description: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of NOAA Facilities & Logistics Division located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for labor, equipment, and materials to install transient voltage surge suppressors (TVSS?s) at the Western Regional Campus to protect critical equipment from possible lighting strikes. The contractor will provide and install surge protection devices (SPD?s) with an option of at least one (1) SPD but at most thirty (30) other SPD?s at a switchboard, distribution panel, or branch panel. The vendor must be licensed and bonded in the state of Washington and within the local commuting area. The period of performance is through 31 October 2007. A request for quotation providing a detailed statement of work will be issued on or about June 8, 2007. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
