- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures with an estimated total award value of less than $100,000. The office of NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory located in Seattle, WA intends to acquire the following items: VECTRAN ROPE, 12 STRAND TORQUE BALANCED DESIGN. JACKETED WITH VORTEX SHEARING "SHAKE DOWN II" POSITIVE RELIEF YELLOW PE JACKET SPLICED EACH END WITH NOAA PROVIDED THIMBLE WITH POURED STRAIN RELIEF URETHANE BOOT. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATION ATTACHED. 1) QTY: 2001 MR - 3 X 667 METERS OF 0.39" TORQUE BALANCED VECTRAN ROPE WITH 10,000 LBS MBS. 2) QTY: 2000 MR - 4 x 500 METERS OF 0.39" TORQUE BALANCED VECTRAN ROPE WITH 10,000 LBS MBS. 3) QTY: 12,000 MR - 6 X 2000 METERS OF 0.39" TORQUE BALANCED VECTRAN ROPE WITH 10000 LBS MBS. 4) QTY: 18,000 MR - 9 X 2000 METERS OF 5/16" TORQUE BALANCED VECTRAN ROPE WITH 3,600 LBS MBS. 5) QTY: 1 JB ? SPLICING The delivery is required by November 30, 2007. The government reserves the right to solicit offers based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice.
