Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a purchase order on a sole source non-competitive basis to Meso Scale Discovery, 9238 Gaither Road, Gaithersburd, MD. 20877-1420. Item1 Sector Imager 2400 Catalogue 130AA-0 includes Data analysis software, computer with XP Pro SP2 and flat screen monitor, UPS - uninterruptible power supply, Robotic/manual adaptor, short stack tube 20-30 plates, diagnostic test plates. Installation and training included. Meso Scale Discovery provides a platform that is unique in that it eliminates the burdens imposed by fluidic analyzers. All precursor technologies require pumps and tubes that the beads must flow through. Instead of a fixed electrode mounted in a flow cell (that the beads pass through), the electrode is in the 96well plate bottom. The disposable carbon ink electrode is printed using precision lithography like flat panel displays. Meso Scale Discovery offers state of the art detection technology, providing the only instrument that combines electrochemiluminescence in a multiplexing platform. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. However, sources may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The FDA intends to make an award immediately after the response date of this notice. The award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
