- The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a Purchase Order for the instruments/supplies listed below. The requirement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written soliciation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FDA-SOL-07-00344. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quote (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 Contract Type: Commercial Item-Firm Fixed Price; All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. The Food and Drug Administration is soliciting for the following items for multiple locations. Scheduled items includes: 1. SmartCycler 3200 2 Block Desktop System - 1ea. SmartCycler RXN TBS 25ul m/pk - 1pk. 4. SmartCycler 3200 2 Block Desktop System - 1ea. SmartCycler RXN TBS 25ul m/pk - 1pk. 5. SmartCycler 3200 2 Block Desktop System - 2ea. SmartCycler RXN TBS 25ul m/pk - 2pk. 6. SmartCycler 3200 2 Block Desktop System - 2ea. SmartCycler RXN TBS 25ul m/pk - 2pk. 7. SmartCycler 3200 2 Block Desktop System - 1ea. SmartCycler RXN TBS 25ul m/pk - 1pk. FOB SHIPPING POINT: Destination. The period of performance is 60 days or less after receipt of order (ARO). A standard warranty on parts and workmanship is required. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation based on best value. CCR Requirement ? Company must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them. If company is not reqistered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors ?
