Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number F2Y2MG7187A001 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This solicitation is 100% set-aside to small business. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 7699 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310. The Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 mil. Pricing Schedule ITEM NO; SUPPLIES/SERVICES; QUANTITY; UNIT; UNIT PRICE; AMOUNT: CLIN 0001--Quarterly Preventative Maintenance, 3, EA, (Unit Price/Amount); CLIN 0002--Quarterly/Annual Preventative Maintenance, 1, EA, (Unit Price/Amount); CLIN 0003--Labor for repair work outside standard maintenance, 56, HR, (Unit Price/Amount); CLIN 0004--Parts Reimbursement, 4,657.50, USD, $1, $4,657.50; CLINS for 1 Oct 08 to 30 Sep 09: CLIN 1001--Same as 0001; CLIN 1002--Same as 0002; CLIN 1003--Same as 0003; CLIN 1004--Same as 0004 Performance Work Statement: The contractor furnishes all materials and service required to perform routine quarterly and annual Preventive Maintenance on one Carrier Hydraulic Chiller (Model # 30RAN050EE-611DT; Serial # 2504F41942). Provide four (4) scheduled preventive maintenance visits per year, to be coordinated with the organization, to ensure Carrier Hydraulic Chiller Unit (Model # 30RAN050EE-611DT; Serial # 2504F41942) is in proper operational order. In addition, perform yearly preventative maintenance (to be completed simultaneously with one of the quarterly visits). Quantity: 1 each. Period of performance for base year is 1 October 2007 to 30 September 2008, and option year is from 1 October 2008 to 30 September 2009. Equipment location is the 62 MXS/Hydraulic Shop, F Street, Hangar 1, McChord AFB, WA 98438. Preventative Maintenance will consist of, but is not limited to repair, modification, installation, transfer, and removal of equipment; in reference to Carrier 30RA010-055 Controls, Start-up, Operation Service, and Troubleshooting Manual page-74 Recommended Maintenance Schedule. Performance and repair costs outside of normal maintenance shall be for work not covered in routine preventative maintenance. It must be approved and coordinated prior to work commencement. An estimate for the cost of parts at list price and labor hours necessary to complete the job must also be made available at that time.
