- Description
- This project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work to paint fire hydrants for Fort Riley. Location of the required work will be in the cantonment area of Fort Riley, Kansas. Required work includes the principal features listed below. Outline of principal features does not limit the responsibility of the Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, material storage, transportation and perform all work require d to provide a complete installation. The contractor shall paint approximately 890 fire hydrants on Fort Riley. In addition to painting each fire hydrant as indicated in the Fort Riley Design Guide, each fire hydrant will have its number painted with bla ck paint in 2-inch high block letters on the barrel or base. The numbers will be placed in such a way that they are visible from the nearest adjacent street. The contractor shall notify the COR if fire hydrants, in addition to those initially provided, ar e discovered on the installation. Maintain work area(s) in neat, orderly and safe condition during the course of the work, and clean up work area(s) at the end of each workday and upon completion of the work. Dispose of debris and salvageable items. Propo sed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000 (see FAR 36.204). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238320. Procurement acquisition will be solicited unrestrict ed in accordance with Public Law 100-656.
