- Description
- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, for Cold Regions Test Center (CRTC) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with ABS Alaskan, Inc DBA Alaska Battery Manufacturing. This contract will be for the procurement of: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, remote power station (solar panel Array). Each system contains a skid mounted fiberglass enclosure, 1100 AH bank of Trojan deep-cycle non -spill able batteries, 10 EA Kyocera KC130TM panels, MX60 MPPT charge controller, & system low voltage disconnect. Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 3. ABS Alaskan, Inc. is the original equipment manufacture (OEM) and the only known source that can provide this requirement. Acquiring these items will provide compatibility in form, fit, and function with existing equipment already in place. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and 13, Acquisition of Commercia l Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the uninten tional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed items. If you feel that your firm processes the ability to provide these items, then you must respond by 7 August 2007, 12:00PM Mountain Standard Time. See Note 22 with exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 7 days instead of 45 days.
