- The U.S. Army Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC), Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Microwave Innovations, Newtown, PA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii), supplies deemed available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract. This action will be for the manufacturing of High Shock RF transmitters (T4XO), for use in the ARRT-124 and ARRT-128 Telemeters in support of the XM982, Excalibur Program. The transmitter will measure 1.49 inches in diameter and 0.7 inches tall. The transmitter shall provide output power of 0.25 watts nominal with high efficiency and survivability up to 50,000 g???s. Microwave Innovations will be required to provide Precision Munitions Instrumentation Division with transmitters (Total Qt. = 8), identifed as model # TTS4XO-SYN-.025 (ANT) -0.3 for the ARRT-124 and ARRT-128 Telemeters in support of the XM982, Excalibur program.
