- The Government anticipates entering into a five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP)/Time and Materials (T&M), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for spare parts, fielding and depot level support services, and New Equipment Training (NET) for Prophet Block II Spiral I Systems. Spare parts will be acquired on a FFP basis; and fielding and depot level support services and NET will be acquired on a T&M basis. The Prophet Block III Spiral I System consists of a sensor and control system. The Prophet Block III, Spiral I System is the Armys Principal ground-based Brigade Combat Team (BCT) and Battlefield Surveillance Brigade Tactical Communications Intelligence/Electronic Warfare sensor system. This action is intended to be sole source pr ocurement, based on Only One Responsible Source, to L-3 Communications Titan Corporation, Linkabit Division, 3033 Science Park Road, San Diego, California 92121-1199. Titan is the developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Prophet Block III Spiral I System and its respective spare parts. The anticipated award date is November/December 2007. Titan can commence deliveries of the spare parts within 60 days of award, and provide fielding and depot level support services and NET within 30 days o f award. The proposed contract shall not exceed $24M ceiling. The forecasted issuance date of the solicitation is on or about 31 August 2007. This synopsis of intent to award sole source is not a request for proposals/offers. The point of contact (POC) fo r this notice is Contract Specialist, Laurice B.
