- Description
- Furnish and deliver to Townshend Dam, Townshend, Vermont one (1) new 4 wheel drive tractor/loader, similar or equal to a John Deere Model 5325, with a 522 or equivalent non self leveling loader equipped with the following options: Skid steer carrying plate shall be added to the loader to accommodate quick hitch attachments. Factory mounted cab with heat, air conditioning and AM-FM , CD Radio and air suspension seat. Transmission: 12F/12R with power reverser. Tires: (front) 9.5-24 R1 agricultural tires ; (rear) 14.9-28 R1 agricultural tires with heavy duty steel wheels. Tires shall be loaded with Ballastar or equivalent. Hood Guard. Tractor shall come equipped with a 73 inch wide loader bucket with a bolt on cutting edge. Factory bucket shall be reworked to accommodate skid steer carrying plates for quick detach applications. The following two front attachments shall also be furnished. Frontier Model AL1572E or equivalent, 72 inch grapple bucket equipped with skid steer attachments. Appropriate fork attac hments with adjustable 48 inch forks with a minimum capacity of 3300 lbs. Third function hydraulic oil tubes, hoses and couplers to loader operated by third function switch on joy stick. Dual mid hydraulic control valve. Minimum of one rear selective contr ol valve. Electro-hydraulic hitch controls. Fender mounted rockshaft control kit. Category 2 three point hitch with telescoping rock shafts. 540E PTO. Rear wiper/washer kit. Auxiliary and rear work lights. Loader work lights. Beacon light kit. Back-up alar m. Locking doors and fuel cap. The following equipment will be traded in toward purchase of the new tractor: 1988 John Deere Model 2355 tractor/loader with three point hitch and no attachments with approximately 2731 hours on it.. The estimated cost of th is procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 16 August 2007. Prospective contractors are required to self register their firm on the Internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are ava ilable on the internet at https://www.fedteds.gov. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registrat ion list. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Business. The applicable NAICS code is 423830 with a Small Business Size Standard of no more than 100 employees.
