Description: The project includes removal and replacement of 35 vertical timber needles at the waste weir located at Appleton 1st lock on the Lower Fox River in Appleton, Wisconsin and removal of existing debris at the sill. Work also includes removal and replace ment of 2 inches to 4 inches of deteriorated concrete surface at the waste weir, and more extensive removal off concrete is anticipated at the corner supporting the hoist. Removal is anticipated below the water level, and cofferdam construction and marine equipment may be necessary. A site visit will be MANDATORY prior to submission of price quote. The solicitation documents will be available on or around 07 August 2007.
