- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government anticipates awarding a contract for the purchasing of twenty-two (22) Grade A36 Steel Plates for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District. This action is 100% set- aside for small businesses with a NAICS Code of 423510 and size of 100. The solicitation will be posted on or about August 1, 2007 at http://www.mvm.usace.army.mil/contracting/Ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp click on the solicitation number, at the botto m for the next screen click on attachments, click on the pdf file and the solicitation will opening up. The offer due date is August 9, 2007 @ 12:00 p.m. central standard time. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of the method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of the quote(s) by the time and date stated herein.
