- Description
- The Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC), Topographic Engineering Center (TEC) ERDC Contracting Office, Alexandria, VA, intends to award a sole source follow-on contract to Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imagining LLC of Norcross, GA on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis. The statutory authority for this requirement is contained in 10 U.S.C. 2304c(1) and FAR Part 6.302-1. This contract will require Leica to provide software that automates, manipulates, analyzes, and displays g e ospatial data in digital formats. The proposed procurement includes purchases of Leica, ERDAS Imagine software plus extensions, data, technical support, licensing agreements, maintenance support, training programs, and enhancements to the commercially a vailable software services. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Governmen t. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
