- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to acquire services to provide necessary personnel, materials, services, facilitie for the operation and daily care of a year-round outdoor holding and breeding colony of Macaca mulatta (rhe sus) non-human primate of Indian origin for theWalter Reed Army Institue of Research. The conlony size is expected to be approximately 150 animals. The contractor will be responsible for all shipping costs to transport the colony from Miami, Florida to t he contractors designated site. The contract period of performance will be one base year period with four one year option periods. Incumbant contractor: Primate Products. The RFP number is W81XWH-07-R-0028 and this will be awarded as a Firm Fixed-Price contract. This requirement will be unrestricted. NAICS code is 812910 for this procurement. This will be a Performanced-Based Statement of work. Evaluation will be based on Best Value Basis. All responsible sources may submit a bid.
