- Description
- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), on behalf of the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, has a requirement for (1) a lessons learned document from recent Biodefense Laboratory National Environmental Policy Act (NEP A) documents and (2) updating the USAMRMC Guide for NEPA Biodefense Laboratory Documents. USAMRAA intends to negotiate a sole source contract with BSA Environmental Services. The intent is to make a sole source award pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) beca use this is a follow-on contract for highly specialized services and award to another source would result in duplication of costs and unacceptable delays. BSA was involved in these projects and thus has the unique and specialized knowledge and experience n eeded to complete this project. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability within the established timeframe is invited to submit written notifi cation to the Contracting Officer by way of the Contract Specialist within ten calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to provide the stated cap ability within the established timeframe. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist, Kathryn McCune at kathryn.mccune@us.army.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Govern ment not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
