Description

The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to furnish and deliver 5,000 tons of Class 13 Gravel to Heart Butte Dam in Elgin, North Dakota. Offeror must provide documentation of archaeological clearance for ALL gravel pits/sources used in obtaining the grave to be delivered IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. This documentation may be obtained from the State Historical Preservation Office (SHPO) or evidence of SHPO clearance through the North Dakota Department of Transportation. Reclamation will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) per FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures on or around August 08, 2007 with quotes being due on or around August 23, 2007. The RFQ will be issued as an unrestricted Full and Open competition under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 212321 (Sand and gravel quarrying (i.e., construction grade) and/or beneficiating) and a size standard of 500 employees. After issuance, the Solicitation, Offer, and Award Form (Standard Form 1442) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. To request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Wendy New. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and must have an active registration (http://www.ccr.gov). Contractors submitting a bid/quotation must complete their Representations and Certifications Online (Section K of the solicitation).
