Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, New Jersey Water Science Center in West Trenton, New Jersey, intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Geoprobe Systems, Salina, Kansas, to purchase a direct-push tooling system capable of measuring real-time profiles of soil hydraulic properties. This equipment is needed to measure both electrical conductivity and pressure response of the formation to the injection of water simultaneously. The equipment is needed to interface with existing Geoprobe-brand direct probes and tooling sensors currently owned and operated by the New Jersey Water Science Center. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about August 8, 2007 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332312. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published.
