- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) has plans to award a follow-on sole source/fixed price Requirements T-45 F405-RR-401 Engine Power By the Hour Logistics Support Contract with Rolls-Royce Defense Services Inc., for intermediate and depot level engine logistics support. The quantity of engines requiring logistics support is expected to be 230 with increases during the period of performance as additional aircraft and spares engines are procured. The prospective contract will be structured to pay by the flight hour based on engine-on wing usage to include all support activities costs and it will contain one (1) base and four (4) option years. The effective period is fiscal year 2009 through fiscal year 2013. Currently, the same support is procured under Contract N00019-03-D-0012, which was also awarded sole source to the same company.
