- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Network Software Licenses to include maintenance, upgrades, and various security access devices for a period of one year on FEMAP and NASTRAN by UGS/PLM of Plano, TX. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for a commercial item (See FAR Subpart 13.5). A firm-fixed price purchase order to UGS/PLM is anticipated. The set-aside for small business concerns has been dissolved. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2(A). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties may request a copy of the Request for Quotation N00167-07-Q-5224. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capability statement to P.
