Description
The Government is seeking a hotel for the Annual Safety professional Development Conference to be held March 9-13, 2007, March 7-11, 2011, and March 11-15, 2013 in one of the following cities: San Diego, CA, Dallas TX, Seattle, WA, or Honolulu, HI Metropolitan areas. The hotel Must have modern, high quality conference facility with centrally located conference rooms co-located on one floor or two adjacent floors (e.g. second and third floor or sixth and seventh floors.) Must reserve a block of 225 sleeping rooms at the prevailing government per diem rate for our attendees (paid by attendees) from Sunday night through Thursday night of the conference week. The sleeping rooms should be in the same building as the conference facilities or within easy walking distance of the conference facilities. Must have adequate parking in or adjacent to the hotel. The hotel should be located within easy waking distance of public transportation to accommodate those attendees not authorized rental cars and etc. A Firm Price Contract is anticipated using the Simplified Acquisition procedure. The FSC code is X199 and the NAICS code is 721110. The requiring activity is the Naval Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Training Center, Norfolk, Virginia. This office will no longer issue hard copies of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil or email emanuel.clemons@navy.mil. The RFQ will be posted on 08/6/07 with closing date of 6/16/2007. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. This is an unrestricted requirement.
