- The Government is seeking a source to provide 850 pounds of 145 Lead Free and Cadmium Free Alloy using Simplified Acquisition procedures. A Firm Fixed Price Type Contract is anticipated. The FSC code is 9630 and the NAICS code is 331492. Delivery is required by 25 August 2007. The requesting activity is Naval Ophthalmic Support & Training Center, Yorktown Virginia. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil or email emanuel.clemons@navy.mil. The RFQ will be posted on 08/6/07 with closing date of 08/16/2007. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
