- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE AS THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION RELATIVE TO THIS PROCUREMENT. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation, number N00189-07-T-N130, is assigned to this notice and serves as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This procurement is a 100 percent set-aside for Small Business with an applicable NAIC code of 337215 and a small business standard threshold of 500 employees. FISC Norfolk Naval Shipyard anticipates award of a firm fixed-price contract for the following items: Item 0001) Double-Sided Work Station; Qty 7 each Ordering Data: > Fully Baked on high gloss powder-coat epoxy paint >Unit shall be capable of being moved with a forklift or pallet truck while fully loaded >Unit shall be shipped fully assembled on pallets >Tabletop to be laminated hardwood. Particleboard or hardboard is not acceptable. Size: 10 ft x 2.5 ft >Stainless steel 4 sided table top cap to be 18 GA minimum with 4 welded corners, 25,000 lb load capacity >Heavy-duty 11 GA minimum bench legs with triple break construction >Minimum of five (5) adjustable uprights 48 inches tall equally spaced along the 10 ft length, four (4) cross braces for extra support, adjustable on minimum 0.75 inch increments >Four (4) straight shelves, 14 GA minimum, that lock into the five (5) adjustable uprights >12 inch deep shelves >One (1) back stop for work bench >Two (2) each, 48 inch fluorescent lights (minimum) >Two (2) cabinets secured under each end of the table top with the following characteristics: >100 percent drawer extension using 11 GA adjustable plug-in guide rails >Fully welded pallet jack base with front or rear access >400 lb weight capacity per drawer >Outer housing to be 14 GA steel minimum >Drawer bottoms to be 14 GA steel minimum >Drawers to be supplied with partitions and dividers of customer?s choice >All corners shall be welded and surface ground >Drawer fronts formed and hemmed with no sharp edges or 90 degree bends >Drawer carriage to be 11 GA with ball bearing rollers >Factory assembled including drawer partitions and dividers >Full height sidewalls on drawers >Guide rails must be plug-in for quick and easy adjustment >Partitions to subdivide drawers from front to back or left to right, divider slots spaced ? inch apart One (1) cabinet to be configured as follows: >33 inches tall >Five (5) drawers with the following heights with the smallest drawer on top: 3 inch, 3-7/8 inch, 4-3/4 inch, 6-1/8 inch and 9-1/4 inch heights (nominal).
