- DESCRIPTION: SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to award a commercial contract to purchase one Ku and S-Band antenna system for the South Pole TRDSS Relay Ground Terminal Replacement (SPTR-2). A draft statement of work is attached. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price, single award type contract with one (1) base period, and four (4) one-year award option periods. This procurement will be conducted under full and open competition on an unrestricted basis. The applicable NAICS code for this effort will be 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. It is estimated that the solicitation will be available on, or around 6 Aug 2007. Vendors must watch for the solicitation and any amendments to be posted on FEDBIZOPS and the SPAWAR E-COMMERCE webpage. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis notice. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. No paper distribution of these documents will be provided.
