- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. GSA Automotive is the mandatory source of supply for the purchase of new non-tactical vehicles for each executive agency and the Department of Defense (DoD). GSA is issuing solicitation number FFAP-T8-071224-B for Light Trucks, 4x2 and 4x4, Pickups and Cab and Chassis to be built in accordance with the Federal Standard 307 AL. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336112 with a small business size standard of 1000. In accordance with FAR 19.702 (a)(1), the apparent successful offeror to perform a contract or contract modification, that individually is expected to exceed $550,000 and that has subcontracting possibilities, shall require to submit an acceptable subcontracting plan. . Registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov is required. The contract type will be Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA). The period of performance consists of one (1) base year with one (1), one (1) year option. Proposals in response to this solicitation must be submitted to GSA Bid Room, Attn: Blair Beander, 7th and D Street SW, Room 1065, Washington DC 20407on-no later than August 30, 2007 by 2:00pm Eastern Time. Prospective offerors are required to obtain a user name and password for the Autobid System in advance by submitting the solicitation number, company's name, DUNS number, user's name, telephone number, and proposed Light Truck, Pickup or Cab and Chassis make (e.g. Freightliner, Sterling, Workhorse, International, etc.) via email to the Systems & Customer/Vendor Support Branch to the attention of gina.jordan@gsa.gov or joan.summers@gsa.gov no later than August 23, 2007. Please request user name and password at least 5 days prior to the closing of the solicitation to allow set up of your account access and to avoid delays. See the attachment for the solicitation.
