- Description
- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with GSE Systems, Inc. for the GSE Simulator Programming and Modeling Tools Software Maintenance/Update Service. The maintenance/update service will cover the SimSuite Power software package which includes the following programming tools (or their successors): Graphic Editor GEMDRAW, BOP Thermohydraulics Model Development tool TOPMERET, Electrical Distribution and Generation Tool ELEGANT, Control and Logic Tool CLASC and Simulation Support System US3. The NRC procured GSE's SimSuite Power software package in 1997. The SimSuite software is essential to assist NRC staff in nuclear power plant simulation maintenance, upgrade, and training. The Period of Performance will be one (1) base year with four (4) one (1) year options, starting October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2012. The Government intends to negotiate solely with GSE Systems, Inc., 7133 Rutherford Road, Suite 200, Baltimore, MD 21244, for a firm fixed price purchase order. A request for quotation does not exist. Interested respondents must submit a written capability statement including technical information sufficient to demonstrate a bona fide written capability to meet this requirement to the address shown above no later than 30 calendar days from date announcement appears in the Federal Business Opportunities. Telephonic responses and responses providing insufficient information for evaluation will not be considered.
