- DESC: 1240-01-515-8265, 3020-01-517-8452, 3130-01-517-9273; Part Number 13005103, 13005083, 13005082, The items to procure are: Mount assembly includes rocker, arm, housing, and plunger assemblies. Materials required are aluminum and copper castings , bronze, stainless steel, rubber & plastic. The Mount contains worm gears, bearings, bushings, gaskets, springs, and bellows. There are numerous drilled/tapped holes and external threading required. Finish is 7.2.2 of MIL-STD-171 & paint. The Gear Wor m Wheel, used on the Mount, is manufactured from a steel corrosion resistant investment casting, heat treated, preciptation hardened, with CARC paint applied. This part has an A and B gear to cut and is approximately 9 inches X 9 inches X 6 inches. The B earing Housing Assembly, also used on the Mount, is made of steel corrosion resistant, investment casting. The process consists of a machined and pinned stem, two outer retaining rings, welded and machined reflectors, outer dog, annular ball bearing, two spanner gages and precision machining is required. The requirements will be a five year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). FOB is Destination. For use on the M777 and M198 Towed Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 13AUG2007. This solicitatio n will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time s et for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
