Description
This is notification of a planned industry day for the Hard Target Void Sensing Fuze (HTVSF) System. The HTVSF is an advanced system that will provide the in-flight cockpit programmability, safing and arming, multi-function (time delay and void sensing) and multi-delay arming, fuzing, and void sensing functions for a weapon to penetrate and destroy hardened targets protected by multiple layers of reinforced material. Industry Days will take place beginning at 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on 10 July 2007 at the 9th SOS Auditorium, Bldg 439, Eglin AFB, FL. An agenda and directions to the auditorium will be posted separately. The Government briefing will include program requirements and a draft acquisition strategy. Those wishing to participate in this industry day must provide a list of personnel who will attend the briefing, their position/title, and social security number to the point of contact listed below, no later than 4:00 p.m. CST, 2 July 2007. One-on-one discussions with Government personnel will begin on the afternoon of 10 July 2007. Each potential offeror (Prime contractor only) will be limited to 50 minutes; however, additional time may be allotted on 11 July 2007 should the Contracting Officer deems further discussion is necessary. Your desire to have such discussions must be submitted in writing to the below listed Contracting Officer. Discussions will be scheduled in the order received, and you will receive an e-mail notification of the time and location for discussions. It is the responsibility of industry to monitor the www.fedbizopps.gov site for the release of any follow-on information. Attendance at the scheduled industry day and any discussions/release of information is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information or costs associated with travel. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (25-JUN-2007).
