The files shall be stored in a manner that is readily accessible to NMCP personnel, and in a manner that poses no safety risks. The containers shall be stored with a minimum 4-ft wide aisle to permit easy access. The Contractor will be required to store containers of various sizes as follows: 1. Eighty-eight (89) Cabinets that are 3ft wide X 19 inches deep X 78 inches tall. These cabinets currently contain X-Ray jackets. There are 29 cabinets which are empty but must also be stored. 2. Approximately 900 boxes which are 16 inches tall X 19 inches deep X 71/2 wide (dimensions are as stored, box resting on narrow side with narrow side opening), all containing files. 3. Approximately 100 boxes which are 16 inches tall X 22 inches deep X 71/4 wide containing asbestos X-Rays. (dimensions are as stored, box resting on narrow side with narrow side opening) The Contractor is responsible for researching and retrieving files upon request. Files will be retrieved at the end of their designated retention periods. Retention periods will be established by NMCP. All files will be delivered to, and picked up by courier from NMCP. Frequency of delivery/pick-up will be at the discretion of NMCP. The Contractor shall be able to accommodate all delivery/pick-up scheduling. The Contractor?s storage facility shall be located within a 35-mile driving radius from NMCP for ready accessibility to NMCP personnel. The files are currently being stored in an off-site location within a 10-mile driving radius from NMCP. The contractor shall be responsible for the costs of moving all containers from their current location to their new location at no additional costs to the Government. The Contractor shall bill according to number of X-Ray containers on-hand at the end of the month and for the number of retrievals performed during the month. Each charge shall be billed as a separate item.
