- Paragraphs 9 and 11 of the Army Family Housing Performance Work Statement are amended as follows: 9. Carpet shall be tufted, cut pile construction, 1/10 gauge, with a minimum 36 oz per square yard yarn weight, density 6085, tufted pile height of 9/32 , finished pile thickness of .213 with woven polypropylene primary and secondary backing. The face yarn shall be Antron Legacy nylon 6, 6 with DuraTech Soil Protection and piece dyed. Carpet shall be Dimensions by Aladdin or equivalent. The carpet shall carry a minimum ten year wear performance warranty and certified as Green Label Plus. Carpet sha ll be installed over a 3/8 extra firm bonded polyurethane pad with a minimum of 15% recycled content. Carpet shall be stretched and attached with tack strips. The successful bidder shall submit samples for selection of color. 11. Contractor shall be responsible for removal and reinstallation of baseboards and any other trim in way of carpet installation. The Contractor shall also remove all shoe moulding and paint the exposed wood with McCormick Cool Platinum paint.
