Description

This project includes rehabilitation and/or relocation of 3500 LF of the Lost Wolverine Trail starting at Daisy Pass. Project work generally includes construction 3500 LF of trial location, installation of grade dips, construction of 1900 SF of rock wall, restortation of 2000 LF of existing trail, obliteration of 2300 LF and incidential work. The first 3500 Lf of trail will be constructed to ATV standards and second 2300 Lf to stock standards. Mechanized construction for excavation will be required. The project is NOT within the Wilderness. The project can be accessed from Cooke city, Montana. Follow Highway 212 east to Cooke City for 1 mile to the Daisy Pass County Road. Turn left onto the road and follow it for approximately 4 miles to Daisy Pass. The project begins at the pass on the Lost Wolverine Trail # 113. Price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. No Bid Bond will be required, however payment security will be required. The entire solicitation package will be posted on teh FEDBIZOPPPS website for downloading. Quotes can be submitted directly from the information provided in the posted solicitation package. It is anticipated that the entire solicitation will be posted aproximately 5 September 2007.
