- This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation to make award to the VISI-US. The intended order is to produce mechanical devices and concealments. The mechanical prototyping shop requires PC-based software that can be used to design injection molds and run flow analyses without continual use. VISI- US is the only vendor that does not require continual use to remain proficient. As are result VISI-US is the only responsible source to provide the necessary equipment to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
