Description

Provide Speech Pathology Services to include evaluation of referred patients from VA Manchester with a variety of diagnoses that impair ability to communicate, CVA, Psychological Dysfunctions, MS, and Laryngectomy etc. The Speech Pathologist will evaluate patient's ability to utilize a variety of communication aids as alternative to vocalization. Also recommend devices and provide guidance to staff. This contract will have a base of one year and two option years. The solicitation package will be available on or about August 29, 2007. The acquisition will be issued as unrestricted. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 621340. Proposals are due on September 20, 2007 by COB. Award will be made on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will include education, management approach, past performance, and price. A Firm, Fixed-Price contract award is anticipated.
