- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2FF017204A003-Fernandez is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-19, Effective 17 Aug 2007 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332612 with a size standard of 500 Employees, the SIC code is 4933. Offerors shall submit a quote for the following items or an equal: CLIN 0001; 250 ea, Vltor Carbine Combo Kits, Black, Part# ACK-2S or equal CLIN 0002; 250 ea, Vltor Slip-Over Rubber Buttpad, Black, Part# AMB-1 or equal CLIN 0004 250 ea, Vltor Single Attachement Sling Endplate, HK-type Loop, Model# SASE-2 or equal CLIN 0005 50 ea, Vltor C-Series Scout Mount, Model# SM-CK or equal. Note: These items will be used for the M-4 assault rifle. FOB: Destination for delivery to Hurlburt Field, FL 32544. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items. It is amended to read: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to 1SOCONS/LGCC, Attn: SrA Amanda Fernandez, 350 Tully St Bldg 90339, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-5810 NLT 5 Sept, 2007 at 12 pm Central Standard time. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number F2FF017204A003-Fernandez. Offer may be faxed to 850-884-1272, or emailed to amanda.fernandez@hurlburt.af.mil. The government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 -- Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. (1) TO HAVE A QUOTE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD ALL VENDERS MUST PROVIDE MANUFACTURER, PART NUMBER, AND EXTENDED SPECIFICATIONS OF THE EXACT MODEL BEING PROPOSED FOR ALL LINE ITEMS FOR EVALUATION FOR ?OR EQUAL? , NO EXCEPTIONS. FAILURE TO PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN A NON RESPONSIVE BID AND REMOVAL FROM AWARD CONSIDERATION. (2)WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
