- Solicitation Number: W9124R-07-T-1127 Response Date: September 7, 2007 at 12:00PM Noon Mountain Standard Time (MST) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with add itional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Proposals (RFP) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cla uses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19 dated 17 August 2007 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), Current to DCN 20070828 Edition. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. This requirement is being solicited as an unrestricted requirement under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 423510 with a size standard of 500 employees. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may register online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html. Qty: 18 Round 1 ? x 20 C.R. 1018 All proposals shall include transportation costs to U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, AZ 85365. Arizona vendors are to include the Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax. All quotations shall be clearly marked with Request for Quotation referencing number W9 124R-07-T-1127 and emailed to POC listed below or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than September 7, 2007 at 12:00PM NOON Mountain Standard Time (MST). Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. Pursuant to FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999) the Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on performance and price. T he following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (Sep 2006). NOTE: in order to complete the Representation and Certifications for the following referenced provisions you must go to the Air Force Web Site at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/Vffar1.htm locate the reference clause, copy and paste it to a Word document and complete. An offeror shall complete only paragraph (j) of FAR 52.212-3 i f the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) web site at http://orca.bpn.gov . DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract terms and conditions required to impl ement statutes or executive orders applicable to defense acquisitions of commercial items (Apr 2007) incorporates 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program (Jun 2005) and 252.247-7023, Transportation of Supplies by Sea (May 2002) with Al ternate III (May 2002) of 252.247-7023.
